Archbishop Smith first visit to the Redemptoris Mater Seminary

On the 28th of October 2025, Archbishop Smith came to visit for the first time his Redemptoris Mater Seminary. He met the formators and the responsible Team of the Neocatechumenal Way, Stefano & Lucia, Fr Leone and Francesco. It was a very fruitful conversation in which he learned much of what is the Neocatechumenal journey. He also met all the seminarians and listened to their experiences. He said: "Your level of self-understanding and how the Lord has worked within you is really remarkable for such young men". He also encouraged the men to allow the Lord to work in their struggles and to be men of the Word and men of their word.
